The Washington Master Chorale kicks off the holiday season in D.C. on December 3rd!
Carolyn will sing the part of Mary in the rarely heard Lauda per la Natività del Signore by Italian neo-classical composer Ottorino Respighi.
"A cantata for soloists, instrumental ensemble and chorus, Respighi’s pastoral reading of the birth of Christ combines modern harmonies and instrumentation with late-renaissance and early baroque idioms to produce a work that evokes both the mystery and joy of the nativity." (Washington Master Chorale - Current Season)
This concert will also include a variety of carols, hymns, and anthems to herald the season, and end with an audience sing-along led by Maestro Colohan.
