Carolyn will sing the part of Mary in the rarely heard Lauda per la Natività del Signore by Italian neo-classical composer Ottorino Respighi, with the Washington Master Chorale. This concert will also include a variety of carols, hymns, and anthems to herald the season, and end with an audience sing-along led by Maestro Colohan.

Hail, Gladdening Light: Choral Works from the British Isles

Carolyn joins the Washington Master Chorale, under the direction of Thomas Colohan, presenting an evening of choral music from the British Isles: "...a program of sacred and secular works by Chorale favorites Benjamin Britten (Ballad of Lady Barnard and Little Musgrave), Ralph Vaughan Williams (O Mistress Mine and The Cloud-Capp’d Towers), Gustav Holst (choral hymns from the Rig Veda), Herbert Howells (Requiem and Magnificat), and Charles Wood (Hail Gladdening Light)."

As a young artist with Emerald City Opera Artist Institute, Carolyn can be seen in the chorus of this classic baroque opera by Henry Purcell, which tells of the love between Dido, Queen of Carthage, and the Trojan hero Aeneas. Performances at 12pm and 6pm.
